Instructions: Before treatment, dirty coins must be pre-cleaned with LINDNER coin cleaning liquid (item 8015). Place the oxidized gold coin on the tray and immerse it in the cleaning liquid. Leave the coin in the liquid for a maximum of 2 minutes. To turn the coin from one side to the other, a numismatic tweezer with protective coating on the tips (item 2014) is best suited. Strongly oxidized coins should be kept in the liquid for 3 to 5 minutes. During this time, all oxides dissolve. In special cases, cleaning time can be extended. To rinse the coins thoroughly, remove the tray from the jar with the cleaning liquid and rinse thoroughly under running warm water. Then dry the coin with a soft cloth. Any gold coins can be cleaned with this liquid. It is recommended to clean only one coin at a time to avoid damage to the coin surface. Very old gold coins (antique, medieval), found during excavations, can be placed in the liquid for up to 30 minutes. Remove dirt spots with the liquid and a foam rubber sponge. Then place the coin in the cleaning liquid again for a few seconds, rinse thoroughly, and dry.
Note: Dirty coins not only look unattractive but also reduce the value of the collection.
Precautions: Stainless steel sinks must not come into contact with the cleaning liquid! Keep out of reach of children! Avoid contact with eyes, skin, and mucous membranes. In case of contact with the liquid, rinse affected areas thoroughly with water. If swallowed, seek medical advice immediately (show the label). Clean only gold coins with this liquid.
